Leave it to Megan at Invisible World to come up with the idea of using quizzes to get bloggers to divulge more about themselves. Her own results, available here, attest to the fact she is not the type to send out a challenge without first doing it herself.

I had fun completing these, so if you’d like to spend a short while exploring what science (and non-science) has figured out about people, follow the links below. You might even discover a thing or two about yourself. In the meantime, if you’re curious what they reveal about yours truly, read on!

What is your Myers Briggs personality type?

Why is this blog about positive change? Because I am an INFP (Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving), of course. Although all “INF” types focus on improving the world (Megan is also an INF), INFPs are notorious for making it their life purpose.

We are idealists and perfectionists who rely on intuition and sift everything though our value system. We integrate anything that helps define or refine our quest to make the world a better place.

Don’t bother arguing right vs. wrong with us. As far as we’re concerned, it’s all about feelings and if it feels wrong, it must be. Think we are irrational? Illogical? Naive? We’re not. We use hard facts and logic to support our bent toward feelings and the human condition. You’ll want us in your corner to help solve conflicts because our intuitive understanding of other people’s feelings gives us the perspective required to find acceptable solutions.

A typo or spelling mistake in our blog will horrify us, but we are unlikely to notice those stains on the carpet or remember your long explanations concerning how the new TV works. Our inexhaustible attention span is notoriously short for anything technical, unless that knowledge can be used to serve a cause we have espoused.

You will find us writing, or working in social service professions such as counselling or teaching. We are at our best when working towards the public good in jobs that require high feeling and intuitive abilities.

What is your blood type?

BloodTypegiphy

A positive, of course.

Characteristics:
Presence of mind, serious, patient, calm & cool;
Coherent character, can be relied on & trusted, but stubborn;
Plan everything out beforehand, and carry out tasks with seriousness and consistency;

What career are you meant to be in?

Therapist.
You are warm, compassionate, sensitive. You like to help and inspire others with your work. You were meant to better people’s lives and make them happier.

Which divergent fraction do you belong in?

Candor.
You belong with the honest. You believe that honesty really is the best policy. You stay honest to yourself, your friends, and family. While you may tell some white lies here and there, you’re blunt and truthful. You’re trusted by all those around you, and your friends come to you all the time for some honest advice. You probably have a hit blog and you love sharing your thoughts. Your direct way of speaking may scare away some people, but the friends you make stay by you for life.
